Word Retrieval & Recall
Speech Sounds on Cue – A starting point for those with a severe naming difficulty. Provides maximum cues and feedback to help the person name the photos.
Aphasia Tutor 1+: Words Outloud – Learning letters & words. Written naming. Also has option for spoken cues – speaks the letters and words in a human voice.
Aphasia Tutor 2+: Sentences Outloud – Sentence completion and word retrieval. Also has option for spoken cues – speaks the sentences aloud in a human voice.
Sights’n Sounds 1 – Verbal naming (spoken word retrieval) and oral reading.
Sights’n Sounds 2 – For speech production and articulation at the sentence level. Records patient’s voice and plays it back along with a model sentence for comparison.

Speaking Clearly (Speech DIfficulties caused by Apraxia and Dysarthria)
Speech Sounds On Cue – Videos show patient how to say letters and words. For patients who benefit from watching your mouth model the sounds they are trying to repeat.
Sights’n Sounds 1 – Works on speech production and articulation at the word level. For patients who can repeat what you say (possibly with effort) without seeing your mouth modeling the word for them. Patients verbally names pictures, reads words aloud and repeats words they hear.
Sights’n Sounds 2 – For speech production and articulation at the sentence level. Records patient’s voice and plays it back along with a model sentence for comparison.
Numbers ‘n Sounds – Speaking numbers out loud.
SpeechPacer – Helps to slow down (or speed up) patient’s speech.
Reading Comprehension
Aphasia Tutor 1: Words + Out Loud – Letter and word level reading comprehension. Speaks the letters and words aloud in a human voice for extra help.
Categories and Words – Word and phrase level reading comprehension. Patient must choose which word does or does not belong with the others.
Aphasia Tutor 2+: Sentences Outloud – Sentence level reading comprehension. Reads the sentences aloud in a human voice for extra help.
Understanding WH-Questions + Out Loud – for sentence-level reading comprehension.
Direction Following + Outloud – Following written directions at the phrase level up to the paragraph level.
Aphasia Tutor 3: Story Reading – Paragraph and story level reading.
